Captured Moments Photography wants to help you gain the most out of your photo session or event photo coverage. With this in mind, we offer the following general "tips" for your consideration.
Some Photo Session Suggestions:
Plan Ahead: Book your photo session well in advance.Remember that certain times of year are busier than others. Prom season, graduation season, spring weddings, and holiday photos are times you can really plan ahead for and not get caught in the rush!
Dress for Success: whether you desire a casual or elegant look, plan what you (or your group) will wear. Coordinate styles and colors, and bring more than one outfit for sittings. If photographing children or babies, always have "back up" attire in case of spills or accidents!
Talk to Your Photographer: Sharing the purposes, plans, or expectations you have for the photo shoot can assist your photographer in helping you meet your goals.
Listen to Your Photographer, too: In addition to the photos you may already know you want, your photographer can also help suggests poses, themes and ideas that may surprise you. Letting your photographer use her creative eye will offer you more poses and options when it comes time for selecting final prints.
Plan for the Time You Schedule: If you have scheduled a 90 minute block of time, be prepared to spend that time with the photographer. Be patient while needed transitions must be made, and enjoy the fun of posing and previewing! If you have young children, bring a favorite toy or book along to help them pass the time between photo shots. If your session will run through or near a meal time, allow the children a snack before coming in for photos.
